Renga Dori (or Renga Street) is a covered shopping arcade located about 15 minutes on foot from Kure Station.
It gets its name from the bricks (in Japanese ‘renga’ means bricks) used to make the road, and comprises the largest shopping street in Kure City. Here you can find Popolo Shopping Center, numerous restaurants and cafés, and a shop selling Kure’s famous ‘fried cake.’ The Yamato Gallery Zero can also be found here.
Please note that on Tuesdays many shops here are closed.
